We all live within stories. Some stories keep us small and stuck, while others bring us into a bigger way of living in the world.

In this event, special guest Mandy Bishop will be sharing her perspective on the power of myth and conscious storytelling as guides on our journeys of initiation. We’ll be exploring how becoming conscious of the story you are living within can become a catalyst for great change, choice, and even a source for immense personal power and courage during the most challenging moments on your path.

In order to illuminate the power of story, Mandy with be sharing an East African story called The Nubian Woman– a tale of a girl searching for her place and belonging in the world and the initiation she must undergo in order to find it.

Special Guest, Mandy Bishop

Mandy Bishop is a professional nature-based coach, guide, folk herbalist, farmer and artist. She helps folks dealing with grief and trauma to reconnect with the old ways in order to move forward in an intact way. Her own lived experience of surviving trauma has led her down a path of recognizing the critical layer of emotional and spiritual recovery from the challenging experiences life can bring us, and has led her deep into her own apprenticeship with the mystery of sacred initiation. She’s in service to the remembrance of our wild selves; to a partnership between nature, creativity and soul; and to the wisdom carried in our bones waking us up to what is most important in our lives.

Megan Theoret is the founder of Medicine Weaver School. She is a nature-based shamanic guide and ceremonialist, with over ten years of experience in shamanic practice and personal coaching. She facilitates individual and group experiences to support people in discovering and bringing their medicine into the world.
