On Thursday, June 23rd we gathered for the 4th event in our 6-part Medicine Weaver Mini-series on bringing your medicine into the world. These free online events feature a special guest and include an opening discussion on a focus topic, followed by a guided experience to support you in deepening your connection to the teachings.

Event Topic: Befriending Your Wounded Healer

Part of the initiatory journey into sharing your medicine involves a period of getting to know, love and even befriend your deepest wounds. Through tending theses wounds, healers often discover that their most trying life experiences have bestowed upon them a unique capacity to serve.

In this event, Kim Coots shares her story of discovering and honing her gifts as an evidential medium, amidst a series of deeply trying and traumatic life events. Through her story we explore the archetype of the ‘Wounded Healer’ and common themes, fears and deep work that many healers encounter as they ripen their capacity to serve and prepare to share their unique gifts with their community.

Kim shares her own struggles with hiding her gifts and allowing herself to be seen. She offers insights on how astrology helped her to find the clarity, knowing and courage within herself to embrace her path of service as a spiritual healer and teacher.

In the experiential portion the event, Kim guides participants to explore their astrology charts and identify a key aspect of their chart that could help in the journey to sharing your medicine.

Kim has made a PDF version of her astrology presentation available to all participants for quick reference on the key Chiron themes she discusses. You can follow this link to get a free copy of your birth chart (it’s not necessary to register, you can choose the guest user option).
